Grading and related excavations for building foundations must be completed in accordance with the approved geotechnical report, and geotechnical recommendations must be incorporated in the project building foundation design. Grading and excavation limits can be affected by property lines and slope conditions. These considerations need to be identified and solutions developed early in the development process as the feasibility of the project is evaluated, and conditions of approval developed accordingly.
