City of Agoura Hills

The City of Agoura Hills retained m6 to provide civil and structural engineering and landscape design together with Jordan, Gilbert, & Bain for the proposed Palo Comado Creek Linear Park Project in 2021. The design of the Linear Park requires the construction of a continuous channel bridge consisting of CIDH piles supporting a deck of pre-cast/pre-stressed voided slab beams over an existing rectangular concrete-lined flood control   channel that is owned and maintained by the Los Angeles County Flood Control District (LACFCD). This structural system will in turn allow for the construction of civil and landscape improvements for the Linear Park. The project creates new urban green space in an underused drainage corridor south of the 101-Freeway to provide a destination park in an area currently with no such facilities.
