m6 provided project management, owner representation, and construction management services to the City of Moorpark for the tenant improvement of their new City Hall building. This project involved upgrading an existing two-story, 22,464 SF structure to accommodate City staff, elected officials, and the City Council Chambers, which includes flexible seating for around 100 people. m6 supported the City throughout the planning, design, entitlement, permitting, and construction phases. Services included programming, stakeholder engagement, concept design, space planning, as well as budget and schedule development. After completing the planning and design phases, m6 managed the Schematic Design (SD) and Construction Drawing (CD) phases, supported the bidding and construction periods, and oversaw project requirements such as agency permitting, cost reporting, pre-submittal plan reviews, budget and schedule management, project oversight, and client communication and reporting.

During the construction phase of the project, m6 managed the contractor and their subconsultants, design team, furniture vendor, stakeholders, City’s contracted services such as material testing and inspection and fire alarm and security, as well as coordinated the project closeout and owner training. m6 completed the project under budget and ahead of schedule.
